Story
The musical tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, who began his journey as an immigrant from the West Indies but then became one of the people responsible for shaping America to what it is today.
Hamilton began his life as an orphan in the Caribbean and by the age of 19 he had made his way into the American colonies. As the Revolutionary War was underway, Hamilton and his friends joined the continental army. George Washington realised that he required help in order to win the war and offers the position of being his right hand man to Hamilton, which he then accepts despite his desire to fight on the front lines.
