Hyde park is one of the most famous parks in the world and so is one of the main attractions of London, for which you cannot miss. The picturesque Hyde Park is a vast park that with a lake in the middle of it; full of different species of birds and squirrels, beautiful flowers and different coloured roses. Many different activities can be done there, making it so unique and special, such as horseback riding, rowing a boat, riding a paddling boat, walking, jogging, riding bicycles, playing sports, or just having a picnic with the family. There is also a restaurant, with a stunning view, overlooking the lake. During summer time, lots of concerts are held there. A large theatre is usually built to display shows for worldwide famous artists. By the end of November and until the beginning of January the very famous theme park gets built in the Hyde Park called, The Winter Wonderland. Hyde park, located in the heart of London, is surrounded by very famous tourist destinations. The Marble Arch and the famous shopping streets of Oxford Street and Bond Street is placed towards the right hand side of the park. On the left hand side of Marble Arch you will find Edgware Road, particularly known for having Arabic shops. The Hyde Park from is connected with another beautiful park called Kensington Gardens and on the right hand side of the park is Park Lane. Which is well known for having the most luxurious and most expensive hotels, shops and restaurants in London, being located in Mayfair. Facts About the Hyde Park: The park covers an area of 350 acres, and it consists of a lake, meadow and flower gardens, and over 4,000 trees.
