Matilda is a gifted child but she has terrible parents. Matilda’s mother is fascinated by ballroom dancing and ignores her daughter in the pursuit of her obsession. Her father hates the fact that Matilda is smarter than normal children and hates that she always reads. that is in addition to the fact that the headmistress of Matilda’s horrid school is determined to make school hell for as many kids as possible. Matilda finds out that she is very lucky as she has a very special ability, will there be a happy ending to this troublesome tale?
