Venice Film Festival

DESCRIPTION

Venice is an impossibly romantic and timeless destination - this ancient city has stood for thousands of years, with layers upon layers of buildings, history and unique architecture contributing to a uniquely rich culture and appearance. Venice and its culture are therefore inextricably linked - from its baroque traditions, carnival and masked balls, its contributions to Italian music, and, most recently, its Film Festival. One of the 'Big Three' alongside Cannes and Berlin, the Venice Film Festival combines modern cinematic glamour and Hollywood dazzle with a typically Venetian style and tradition. Running from the 30th August - September 9th (2018), the Film Festival represents an excellent opportunity to visit the city of Venice - a chance to indulge in all the delights of this incomparable destination, whilst enjoying all the prestige and allure of the red carpet, as well as the inevitable celebrity parties that go hand-in-hand with any film launch or premiere! We have access to all premieres throughout Venice Film Festival - including red carpet entrance - allowing our guests to mingle with the VIP's, crew and cast in attendance, before witnessing the first screening of a new piece of cinematic history in person! On each evening of the Film Festival, there are numerous celebrity parties held by individual actors, studios, and luxury brands, with free-flowing drinks, live music, and a gorgeous, glittering crowd. We can also provide entrance to these usually invitation-only soirees, allowing you to access the hottest parties and galas in Venice to sip cocktails and mingle with the stars. Aside from the delights of the international Film Festival, Venice is a city with which we have vast experience. Our Travel Team has an intimate knowledge of the finest boutiques and brand Hotels in Venice, and we have excellent connections at the most in-demand restaurants across the city. We can also arrange a number of cultural experiences - from arranging private tours by an art historian, who will provide you with access to the hidden secrets and unknown corners of this labyrinthine city. Enter areas normally closed to the public, from the crypt beneath St Marks Basilica, to secret rooms in the Doge's Palace - as well as access to private art collections at family-owned residences and palazzos. Similarly, we can arrange culinary tours and cookery lessons with some of the finest chefs in this region of Italy, including trips to the surrounding countryside with its rolling hills, vineyards and farms, busy producing the famed local cheese and hams.  Other highlights include visits to the Franciscan monks at their 13th Century monastery, private gondola or water taxi rides, and trips to the cities islands, such as Murano, Burano and Torcello. Whatever your desires, budget, or timescale we can build the perfect itinerary to suit your exact requirements.
