Buckingham Palace

DESCRIPTION

Buckingham Palace is one of London’s most iconic buildings making it a must-see attraction during your visit. The Queen's home is one of the very few Royal Palaces that are still standing today. The Palace makes a great background for photos and watching the changing of the guards is a must whilst you are there (please check all the dates and timings below). The Palace is also open to visitors during the summer season during certain times, so be sure to get inside to get a sense of the lives of the Royal Family. In front of the Palace exists a beautiful fountain made in memory of Queen Victoria. The Green Park and St. James’s Park are also just minutes away from the Palace. *Facts about Buckingham Palace: The Palace consists of 775 lavishly designed rooms, including 78 bathrooms and 19 state rooms, some of which were used for the wedding reception of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
