The British Museum is one of the greatest museums in the world. If you like history, then you will love this museum. The British Museum is vast and so we recommend you plan your visit in advance and know what exhibitions you want to see. The entry into the main museum is free and there are a few special exhibitions, which require you to pay for in order to enter. Children and adults will enjoy the following: On the Ground Floor, a Statue of Ramesses the Great, Assyrian Lion Hunt reliefs, the Hoa Hakananai’a, Parthenon Sculptures, Chinese Tang tomb figures, the double-headed serpent and the Sutton Hoo Helmet. On the Upper Floor, a Mummifeld Bull, Oxus Treasure, the Mummy of Katebet and the Hoxne pepper pot. On the Lower Ground Floor, a Benin plaque with Europeans and the King of Life.
