Greenwich Park is one of the capital’s eight Royal Parks. Every year, millions of Londoners and tourists visit this historical Park. This 183-acre Royal Park carries a substantial amount of history in its grounds, dating back to Roman times. On top of the hill, visitors can enjoy sweeping views across central London the River Thames. Greenwich Park hosts the Prime Meridian Line and the Royal Observatory. It is also home to the Greenwich Maritime World Heritage Site. Tennis and cricket are frequently played in the Royal Park and there are three cafes in the gardens.
